The Master of Water Security (MWS) is a unique interdisciplinary professional graduate program between the School of Environment and Sustainability (SENS) and the Global Institute for Water Security (GIWS). The MWS involves 10 (six-week) courses and a professional project undertaken over the summer with an external project partner.
In 2021 we were lucky enough to have two MWS students work with us. One project will develop a document outlining main water contaminants in the South Saskatchewan River, and the identification of possible sources of that contamination. The other project will compare the SSRWSI Source Water Protection Plan with the WSA 25-year plan.
